Fans Demand A Second Concert

A Second Concert in Sydney
Tickets On Sale Monday 31 January at 9am

Due to a huge demand for tickets it has been announced that Barbra Streisand will perform a second concert in Sydney. This will take place at the Sydney Football Stadium on 10 March. Tickets for the concert will go on sale from Ticketek outlets at 9am on Monday 31 January. Due to industrial unrest at the yet to be completed Colonial Stadium, a second and final Melbourne show cannot be announced at this time.

Tickets for the first concerts in Sydney and Melbourne went on sale on Saturday 18 December and hundreds of fans slept overnight at ticketing agencies to secure tickets for what will be the greatest concert of this new Millennium. Demand for tickets was so great that representatives of Ticketek in Sydney confirmed that the concert that went on sale was the highest grossing one day sale figures ever in Australian entertainment history, and the Sydney Football Stadium confirmed that the sales were the greatest for any show that has ever been presented at that venue.

On New Years Eve in Las Vegas Barbra Streisand gave her first live concert performance in many years, and the media have raved about this event:-
