Footnotes
Streisand's 4th live concert album, recorded June 1994 (with a few segments
from July 1994), Madison Square Garden, New York City, during the
second largest grossing concert engagement in American music history.
- Disc 2, track 5 recorded January 1, 1994, MGM Grand Garden, Las
Vegas and included in CBS-TV broadcast of Barbra Streisand: The Concert, May 21, 1995.
- Companion home video of same name recorded July 22 and 24, 1994 at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim outside L.A., documenting Barbra's
last public performances before The Millennium Concert, and garnering Emmy and Peabody awards.
- After her first tour since 1966 (24 concerts in 1994 dating back to the MGM Grand Garden, New Year's 1994), Barbra reflected, "It all worked out; it was right. It was right for me to gain this confidence, to feel absolutely at ease onstage, to feel I belonged there and deserved to be there, that I could give and receive the love of those audiences. I really am grateful to those people."

- Recalling the 1994 Concerts, Marvin Hamlisch remembered one particular evening in New York when Barbra's Act I performance was "beyond perfect," and he felt "like a kid in a candy store." "I ran into her dressing room, gave her a big kiss, and said, 'kill me now, but it never is going to get better.' I was telling everybody, 'did you get that, did you hear that, do you believe what she did?' She was in a mode of singing where not only was her voice great, but the interpretation was beautiful."
