Footnotes

First Streisand live concert album; abridged version of original
free 2-hour concert recorded June 17, 1967, Central Park, NYC.
- Companion album to CBS TV special of same name, which aired
September 16, 1968. Home video release out of print.
- Barbra remembers in Just For The Record: "I'd been told to expect as many as 60,000 people, but 135,000 people showed up, and the police department could only spare 40 cops for crowd control, since Soviet Premier Kosygin had also come to town unexpectedly. It was a bit scary, but an evening I'll never forget."
- First appearance of "Value" on record, which had joined Barbra's
nightclub/concert repertoire in 1961, when she debuted the song in Jeff
Harris's off-Broadway revue, Another Evening with Harry Stoones.
- On track 7 "Marty The Martian" preceded by the trio of novelty songs.
- Digitally restored/remastered CD released.
